CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Cape Charles Town Clerk has received three large Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests from a legal entity.
A confirmation email was sent, asking for their legal address pursuant to Code of VA § 2.2-3704.A. Upon receipt of this information, the requests will be circulated to the appropriate parties for determination of the estimated staff time to perform the research.
A follow-up email has been sent to the requester invoking a 7-day extension and providing a cost estimate and request for payment of a deposit, if applicable.
