MELFA, Va. — The Eastern Shore Regional Animal Control Facility is calling on community members to consider adopting a pet as the shelter faces overcrowding. Staff say they currently have several wonderful animals waiting to find their forever homes and hope to place them with loving families soon.
“If you have been thinking about adoption, now is the time,” the facility announced. “We have some really great animals in our care, and we would love to see them have their forever home.”
Potential adopters can set up a meet and greet after their application has been approved. The facility requires that these meetings include every primary member of the household and any dogs that live in the home to ensure a smooth transition for the adopted pet. Applications are available by messaging the facility directly or by emailing jwinn@co.accomack.va.us.
This bonded mom and daughter duo are looking for their forever home. Professional biscuit makers, purr machines, lap cats, and they both have the softest velvet fur.
Sweet Potato Casserole and Cranberry Sauce are the purrfect pair and would love to spend these upcoming Holidays with you. Email jwinn@co.accomack.va.us or message us for your application.
