CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Town of Cape Charles is calling on residents to step up and serve their community by filling vacant positions on several key boards.
Openings are available on the Building Code Board of Appeals, the Board of Zoning Appeals, and the Wetlands & Coastal Dune Board. These boards play an important role in shaping policies and decisions that impact the town’s growth, development, and environmental stewardship.
“If you’re passionate about contributing to the community and want to be more involved in town affairs, we’d love to have you join one of our boards,” said Town Clerk Libby Hume.
Cape Charles residents interested in serving are encouraged to complete an application and submit it to the Town Clerk at 2 Plum Street, Cape Charles, VA 23310, or via email at clerk@capecharles.org.
These volunteer positions offer an opportunity to make a difference in the community by helping guide decisions that affect the town’s future.
