What’s New – Resource Station
In addition to exploring the Eastern Shore Livability Hub together, the workshop will feature a Resource Station with several organizations providing valuable information, services, and hands-on resources, including but not limited to:
- Virginia Department of Health – Wells & septic information and resources
- Virginia Housing – Affordable housing information and resources
- Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) – Information on the Coastal Resilience Master Plan and Virginia Flood Protection Master Plan
- Accomack-Northampton Planning District Commission (ANPDC) – Photovoice exhibition
- Eastern Shore Area Agency on Aging/Community Action Agency – Local resources and services
- Virginia Humanities – Oral histories from the Shore
- Coastal Futures Conservatory – Listening station experience
