CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Cape Charles Town Clerk’s office continued to handle a variety of public service and administrative duties over the past week, according to the latest report.
The clerk provided ongoing assistance to residents and visitors, offering information on parking tickets and payment methods, as well as beach-related details such as parking options and access to food, bathrooms, and showers.
Other tasks included forwarding faxes, submitting work orders to public works, performing two notary services, and booking the Civic Center for various meetings and events. The office also handled weekly supply ordering and distribution, reviewed local newspapers for the town’s news scrapbook, and managed accounts payable checks.
Routine administrative responsibilities were also completed as part of the clerk’s ongoing work to support both the public and town operations.

We will miss him very much.
He will be deeply missed.
