The Cape Charles Fishing Pier will be closed to the public beginning Monday, April 3rd, through Friday, April 7th, for repairs and maintenance.
The Public Works crew will be replacing boards, and nails, rewiring the lights and doing other repairs. To ensure the safety of residents, children, and pets, and to allow the crew to work without interruption, Cape Charles town staff felt that it would be most effective to close the fishing pier for a week while the repairs were being done.
