The Friends of the Cape Charles Memorial Library book sale is just around the corner, and this can be a fantastic way to support our local public library. Book sales not only help generate revenue for the library but also promote literacy and encourage community engagement.
The group is looking for recently published books in good condition and published no earlier than 2015. You can drop off your books at the shed behind the civic center on Tazewell Avenue on Thursday June 22nd between 10 and 12.
Public libraries often have limited budgets, and book sales like this can serve as a significant fundraising opportunity. By selling donated at reasonable prices, our library can generate funds to support various programs and services. The money raised can be used to purchase new books, improve library facilities, and organize educational events.

I'd like to see the costs for the increases in renewable energy.
