The Historic District Review Board approved an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness for new construction of a single-family home at 204 Jefferson Avenue\lot 221. The plans show a two-story, 2765 square-foot (including porches), stick-built home and will have Hardie board siding.
Plans indicate a screened in back porch as well as a dormer roof. The building is proposed to have a metal roof, however the owner is reviewing the pricing and feasibility, and may change that to a regular 30-year roof.
A full foundation with a stucco finish is proposed.
While the architectural drawings show a pergola, according to the builder, the pergola is not going to be built. The drawings also show six-over-one window types, and this may change to 6/1 or 4/1.
