SEASONAL SHOREBIRD/WATERBIRD FIELD TECHNICIAN
The Nature Conservancy is soliciting applications for a short-term Shorebird/Waterbird Field Technician to assist with management activities for nesting birds on the islands of the Virginia Coast Reserve. This position will last 18-20 weeks beginning in April 2018. Responsibilities include monitoring beach nesting birds, posting and patrolling bird colonies and visitor education. Basic qualifications include coursework in wildlife biology or related field, bird monitoring experience, and boat operation/trailering experience.
