The New Roots Youth Garden in Cape Charles is kicking off another great season of gardening, growth and glee. Our mission is to connect our young people with food from seed to table through outdoor experiential learning and fun. Please follow us on Facebook or visit our website at: nryg.webs.com, for more information.
Please mark your calendars and come join us in the upcoming events:
April 18th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. – Come help spruce up the garden for the upcoming season. Many hands make light work so come on out.
5:30-6:30 p.m. – Following the clean-up we will be holding a volunteer meet and greet in Rayfield’s upstairs meeting room,(door next to drive thru window). Come and see how you can become a part of the garden.
April 30th The Blessing of the Worms 3:00 – 4:30 – our opening day!!
Weekly garden begins May 4th – June 8th Thursday nights 4:30 – 5:30
