  1. Let a working water man try this and see how fast it he will be shot down. When will Northampton county get out of the rich man’s pocket and represent the little guys? I am tired of daddy’s money people running our(use the loosely) county and getting away with anything they want. This board is only setup to be a sounding board for what the upper crust want & don’t want to do in the county.Time to make a change Washington.

  2. I don’t understand what is wrong with shacks being fixed up?? The Eastern Shore is full of shacks. This area could be beautiful. If we want to promote tourism we need to encourage people to improve properties, not put up barriers.

  3. If you read the article ” I mean but the definition…of a watch house is an unimproved structure” this has nothing to do with shacks on the shore. This is about someone not abiding by the zoning regulations when everyone else has to and because of their(daddy’s) political pull flaunt it in our faces. There are places on the shore that might need fixing up ,but those people are probably busy trying to get permits approved by the zoning board .The zoning regulations are for everyone to abide by not just the working class .This is about being fair across the board, people are tired of the old boy network.

    1. Why don’t you get off worrying about someone else’s money. Obviously , these people and others like them have resources they have chosen to use to make improvements to the Eastern Shore , and in some cases might not see a profit. Maybe more people would follow suit if there were not so many senseless obstacles. Without these people the improved properties would remain an eyesore. I applaud anyone who is making such improvements.

    2. I am quite sure that there is a road called Rt 13 that will take you away from ‘The Shore’ if you travel North or South. I am also quite sure that no one will force you to return.
