Pet of the Week: Meet Cookie

I’m Cookie, a young terrier, just a little under two years old and I weigh only 21.8 lbs. I think it would be perfect if I went to a home with young children because we’d really have fun playing together. Here at the shelter, I enjoy the times when I get to go into the lounge with the staff and volunteers, There are always lots of toys in there for me to play with, and, best of all, I get to be petted and told what a good girl I am and how cute I am. What girl doesn’t enjoy a compliment?

If you took me home, we could play, or we could go for a walk. You wouldn’t even have to teach me to walk on a leash because I already know how to do that.
