  1. Port Warwick and City Center “duck in” parking areas in NNews have the highest parking related incidences in the city.
A small car, backing out of a space with an adjacent SUV blocking the view, is kwazy.

  2. Those silly experts…what do they know. We have an ad hoc committee. Some say a camel is a horse designed by a committee. What could be easier than backing into a slot? If you can’t handle that, maybe you should reconsider driving a vehicle. So you can’t back in but you can back out. Hope no traffic is coming…

  3. Only in Cape Charles Is such a crazy idea of Forward parking at 45 deg angle ever be considered. [ 1] Its the most dangerous method of parking when loading or unloading your rear Trunk you are in danger of being hit by Golf Cart Cycle or passing traffic . also most cars a Four door center hinged when you exit Car you step back . Not a good idea [2] most modern Cars have a very low front end Air dam . Damage can be caused by hitting Curb. [3] Pedestrians on side walk at danger . think About it .[4] Reversing back in to traffic is a night mare .Mark my words .[5 ]the rear of most Cars is slightly taller than the front .

  4. I’ve witnessed enough folks almost getting hit by vehicles backing out of these spot when they choose to disregard back in parking. Other issues are folks not stopping at stop signs and teens on golf carts impeding the flow of traffic. Last year I was cut off on my motorcycle and while in my truck. Prompting me to not go into town in season.

  5. Most cars have a camera on the back that gives the driver a view of on coming traffic when backing out .

Like the railroad caboose , maybe technology already solved the problem .
