Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled a seminar, “Data Data Everywhere–How Telecoms Use It”.
The free 90-minute seminar will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, November 8th in Room 148 of the Academic (the most Westerly) Building of Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
Sandy Hall will discuss how everything is “connected” these days, from your phone to your tablet, fitness tracker, and even most cars, and explore what data is captured, stored and used.
Hall, retired to the Shore, was an AT&T Big Data executive.
