Cape Charles Yoga Scene Expands, New Outdoor Studio Combines Timeless Rituals with New Trends
Yoga and nature have been paired for millennia; the first yogis realized these two were better together. In Coastal Virginia and beyond, a new trend in yoga practice is to feature yoga in combination with elements that give a local flavor to the class experience. At Breathe Easy and Smile Yoga Co. , we are riding the wave of that trend to bring ancient rituals alive with yoga classes that highlight all the Eastern Shore has to offer – and our repeat students and all 5-star reviews tell us our students are leaving all smiles!
Yoga on the Beach
Join Breathe Easy and Smile Yoga Co. for Sunrise Yoga on the Beach at Kiptopeke State Park Saturdays in August from 9:30 – 10:30a for an all-levels, Ashtanga-inspired vinyasa flow class. Like our students, be ready to leave sandy and smiling! Class cost: $8. A little-known secret: kids practice free with an adult at Breathe Easy’s Saturday Sunrise classes. Our students park at the beach for free – just tell the ranger that you’re there to practice with Breathe Easy and Smile Yoga Co.!

Join us for Beer + Yoga at Cape Charles Brewing Co. Sunday mornings in August from 10 – 11 am. Class cost: $15. Please arrive 15 minutes early to purchase your beer flight (sold separately). Beer Yogis for this event must be 21+. Bring Your Own Mat – and towel. No mat? No problem! $3 mat rentals available.
