The Mirror would like to remind everyone about the significance of water conservation, particularly during the summer months. As the temperature rises and the demand for water escalates, it becomes crucial for us to be mindful of our water consumption and take active steps to conserve this precious resource.
To help, the Eastern Shore Soil and Water Conserviate District offers the Water-Wise Home Challenge. They hope you can adopt at least three challenge actions to receive the Water-Wise Home garden flag to proudly display on your property.
Once you have adopted at least three (hopefully more) of the challenges, contact julie.head@esswsd.org and she will send your flag.
