Todd Holden says
With what is ‘really’ going on, bird festivals are the last thing that the citizens of the eastern shore should be concerned with. Have you all taken a good look at the actions, mannerisms, and habits of a large portion of the population? You can’t put lipstick on a pig……
Note: While some of the comments we receive at the CCM, along with general observations certainly lend credence to your assertions, we would argue that the birding festival is one of the last pure and beautiful things left here on the Shore, something that has not been tarnished by greed, vulgarity and abject stupidity (#Tall Ships). The migratory birds that come here, as they have been for so long, deserve to be celebrated, as well as protected. That is the goal and mission of the birding festival.
