Arts Enter will be holding auditions this Saturday October 7th at 10:30 for the Christmas play ‘A Beggar’s Christmas’. This is an all age production, and there are roles for ages 8 to adults.
This is a musical and dance production, so please bring a song you can sing acapella.
Rehearsals will begin October 16th, and the production dates are Dec. 8th, 9th and 10th.
A Beggar’s Christmas takes place on the streets of Victorian London. Martin and his army of beggars attempt fight off the elements and society by banding together, pooling resources and trying to have some holiday cheer. The two lovers Jacob and Violet only hope to save enough to someday come to America to start a new life. The Miser Ebenezer Scrooge makes life miserable of all of them until one fateful Christmas Eve night. Other characters such as Cross-Eyed Mary, Constable Malview and Danny Boy fill out a fun and eclectic cast of characters.
