EXMORE-On Saturday, March 24, the Exmore Police Department will host their first 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children in the community. Set to take place in the Exmore Town Park, the fun begins at 10 a.m. with the spacious grounds of the park divided into two areas; one to accommodate the youngest egg hunters, ages one through four, and the second for older children, ages five through ten. Eggs will be filled with delicious candy treats.
“We enjoy giving back to the community,” said Exmore Police Chief, Angelo DiMartino. “The department receives donations from local businesses and residents throughout the year, and we are using donated money to fund this family-oriented event.”
Chief DiMartino adds that a big shout out of thanks goes to Dollar General, Ace Hardware, El Maguey, Peebles, Exmore Auto, New York-New York, Western Auto and Pasco for their support and help in funding the Easter Egg Hunt and other community activities.
