A dryer located at the Cape Charles Hotel caught on fire Friday, sending units from Cape Charles and Cheriton onto Mason Avenue. Units responded and had the fire under control within minutes.
As of 2:00 p.m. Saturday, operations returned to normal.
Sources tell the Mirror that damage relatively minor, however, Chuckletown experienced major smoke damage.
