Bailey’s Bait & Tackle founded in 1969 by Emmett & Lola Bailey recently celebrated 50 years of business in the Town of Cape Charles.
The business started in their home in the 400 block of Mason Avenue and then moved in the 1990s to its present location at 327 Mason Avenue.
Owned and operated now by Donnie and Marie Brady and their son and daughter-in-law Jeb and Anna Marie Brady, Bailey’s Bait & Tackle is the go-to source for Cape Charles and Eastern Shore of Virginia fishing tackle, bait, and equipment.
They specialize in surf and inshore fishing and carry a wide selection of rods, reels, lures and tackle for local fishing needs. They carry live and frozen bait ranging from minnows to squid, and right now they have fresh bunder.
