Town Council approved the first extension of the Waste Collection and Disposal Services contract
with P.W. Davis Disposal from November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2023.
The cost for year two of the contract will be $18.93 per month per receptacle which is an increase of
about $15,000 over the amount budgeted for FY 2023.
Town Council approved transferring the necessary amount from the Sanitation Fund Balance to alleviate the increase the rates to the citizens.
There is currently about $80,000 available in the Sanitation Fund Balance to cover this increase.
