The town clerk received FOIA Requests focusing on details of the Cape Charles Police force:
i) full first and last names of each sworn officer or deputy;
ii) badge number;
iii) rank/job title;
iv) unit/assignment;
v) demographic gender;
vi) demographic race;
vii) date of first employment;
viii) salary, overtime pay, and total pay were noted separately for 2022, 2021, and 2020.
The request was forwarded to the HR manager and an extension letter was sent to the requestor. The Mirror will make this information available once the request has been completed.
