In a world often marked by its fast pace and constant hustle, there are moments when communities stop and come together to support one another. This is one such moment. The Cape Charles Volunteer Fire Department is organizing a Pulled Pork Benefit Fundraiser to support Rachel Stevens, a CCVFD member who is battling brain tumor.
The event, scheduled for October 1st, will take place at the Cape Charles Firehouse, 501 Mason Avenue, Cape Charles. The event goes from 11:00 AM until sold out.
Rachel Stevens is a vibrant mother of four, a loving wife, a supremely talented photographer, and an active participant in many community events. If anything, the diagnosis earlier this year shines a light on her determination, beauty, and courage.
As a community, we are all stronger when we are together, so please come out and enjoy great food, and help out one of our best!
