Back in 2018, the Town Council changed the start time of their regular meetings from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to accommodate several members of the Town Council who worked outside of the town. Those members are no longer serving on Town Council.
A consensus was reached to move the start time of all future Town Council meetings to 6:00 p.m. for consistency with the Planning Commission meetings and to shorten the work day for the Mayor, Town Council, staff, and the Cape Charles citizens.
