The Cape Charles Wetlands & Coastal Dune Board, responsible for overseeing activities in sensitive wetland and dune areas, has gained a familiar face for another term. Mr. William Robertson, who was appointed to the board in April 2023 to complete a term expiring on November 12, 2024, has expressed his interest in continuing his service.
The Wetlands & Coastal Dune Board convenes on an as-needed basis to review applications for projects impacting wetlands and coastal dunes, areas vital for environmental conservation and storm protection. The board comprises five members, each serving staggered five-year terms.
