Northampton soccer played two games on the shore this week.
Monday evening in Chincoteague the boys varsity soccer team whipped the ponies 11-2. A handful of JV players got an opportunity at playing time. Gerardo Maldonado Lopez and Cameron Glennon both JV starters scored goals for the varsity squad.
Wednesday night in Eastville the yellow jackets again clashed with their Eastern Shore rivals The Nandua Warriors. Once again both JV and varsity game were very competitive. The JV game ended in a 1-1 tie, and for the second time this year the varsity boys beat Nandua 2-1.
