CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Cape Charles Historic District Review Board will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 18, to consider two Certificate of Appropriateness applications for property modifications within the town’s historic district.
The first application, submitted for 603 Monroe Avenue, seeks approval to renovate a two-story single-family home. Proposed modifications include the addition of an outdoor shower, the construction of a rear accessory structure, and the installation of a side and rear privacy fence.
The second application, for 133 Mason Avenue, requests permission to install a six-foot wall to screen above-ground propane tanks.
The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Town Hall, where board members will review the proposals for compliance with historic district guidelines. Property owners and the public are encouraged to attend and provide input.
