Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled a seminar, “Light and Metabolic Health, Part 1: Circadian Biology.”
The free 90-minute seminar will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 14 in Room 148 of the Academic Building (the most westerly) of Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
In a two-part series John Durmick will discuss the role of light in human biology.
This, Part 1, will cover the physics of sunlight, the human need for light, and new research in the field of circadian biology.
Durmick has over 15 years investigating the emerging science of metabolic health. He is a (nearly) retired technology industry executive living near Nassawadox.
