Hi I am Butterball, a young, maybe just turning 1 year old, female chihuahua mix. I am spayed and up to date on my vaccinations. I weigh 9.8 pounds.
I am very energetic, playful, and friendly to people of all ages. I do not seem to know a stranger. I might do okay in a home with cats, and other dogs.I need help with my potty training. I ended up here at the shelter because I tore up furniture in a home I was temporarily in.
I am now looking for a place to call home. When I am not full of zoomy energy, my favorite spot is a lap. I enjoy toys, and play. Also maybe someone with energy to keep up with me for exercise.
If you think you may be interested in adopting Butterball, you can stop by the shelter any Tuesday-Saturday from 10a.m.-2:30p.m. for a kennel walk-through.
(We have no same-day adoptions and an approved adoption application is required to be scheduled for a meet and greet.)
You can pick up an adoption application while you are there or print one off on our website anytime www.shorespca.com.

We ask that you have a good vetting history, or are able to establish continued vet care for any of our adoptee’s.
You can also email us and ask that an adoption application be attached and sent back to you at shorespca@gmail.com
Call the Shelter Tuesday-Saturday 10a.m.-3p.m. with any questions at 757-787-7385
