ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. — The Eastern Shore Public Library is offering a full schedule of creative and community-driven events this fall, inviting residents of all ages to read, craft, learn, and connect.
Highlights include several hands-on workshops such as making tea bag bookmarks and blending a fall tea, and a craft session to create paper roll bats, perfect for the Halloween season. Families can also take part in a pumpkin hunt for a chance to win prizes.
For book lovers, the library’s Romance Book Club will meet to discuss Zom Romcom by Olivia Dade, blending humor and heart in a seasonal read. Patrons are also encouraged to vote for their favorite pumpkin decorated under the theme Grimms’ Fairy Tales.
Community members can connect with local fiber artists to share crochet and knitting projects, or join in monthly social activities including video games, board games, and puzzles.
Tech enthusiasts can register for the 3D Printer Basics training class, an introductory session for those interested in learning about digital fabrication tools.
As Halloween approaches, visitors can also explore local ghost stories from the Eastern Shore, adding a touch of history and mystery to the season.
