CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Cape Charles Historic District Review Board will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, December 16 at 5 p.m. The board, which oversees exterior changes within the town’s historic district, announced one new approval ahead of the session.
Certificate of Appropriateness Approved
- 618 Monroe Avenue — The board approved a Certificate of Appropriateness allowing the property owner to replace 12 existing windows and to remove the current aluminum plank siding on the front gable, sides, and rear of the single-family home. The project will install new vinyl siding in its place.
The Historic District Review Board meets monthly to consider applications for exterior modifications, ensuring that rehabilitation and construction within the district remain consistent with established architectural guidelines.
