Pet of the Week: Diesel Still Needs a Home

Hi, I am Diesel.

I am a 2-year-old male Shepherd mix. I love the outdoors. I am friendly when you get to know me. My favorite word is “treat”. I weigh 56 pounds currently. I am neutered and up to date on my vaccinations.

I can look a little intimidating if you do a kennel walk-through, but I warm up in person very easily. I am energetic. I am a little dog selective, so I may be able to go into a home with the right dog. I haven’t cat tested very well, so I would probably be better suited in a home with no cats.

Older children may make out better with me so I don’t accidentally knock them over. I have some decent energy for my size.

If you think you may be interested in adopting Diesel you can stop by the shelter any Tuesday-Saturday from 10a.m.-2:30 p.m. for a kennel walk-through. (We have no same-day adoptions and an approved adoption application is required to be scheduled for a meet and greet.)

We ask that you have a good vetting history, or that you are able to continue vet care for any of our adoptees.
