Cape Charles – The Town of Cape Charles has issued an Invitation for Bids for the upgrade of the electrical system and lighting infrastructure on the north side of Mason Avenue. The project is part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to improve and modernize its downtown corridor.
Sealed bids will be accepted at Cape Charles Town Hall, located at 412 Tazewell Avenue, Cape Charles, VA 23310, or submitted electronically via email to bob.panek@capecharles.org. All bids must be received no later than 11:00 AM local prevailing time on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Contractors and other interested parties may obtain the complete Invitation for Bid package through the Town’s official website at www.capecharles.org under the Bid Opportunities section. The bid package is also available for pickup in person at Town Hall during regular business hours.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid received. Any bids arriving after the specified closing time of 11:00 AM on March 18 will be returned to the sender unopened.
