Meet Onyx, our resident expert on why black cats are the best cats.
Did you know black cats are considered good luck in Egyptian, Celtic, and Japanese traditions — and sailors even brought them on ships for safe voyages? It’s really only Western folklore that gave them a bad reputation.
Got a black cat of your own? Drop a photo in the comments! And whatever else you do today, make sure your ebony beauty gets a special treat and some extra chin scratches.
Oh, and if you don’t have a black cat,…hint, hint: Onyx is ready and willing to fill the void.
