CAPE CHARLES, Va. — Cape Charles voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates for local office during a Candidates Forum scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Cape Charles Civic Center.
The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. and will give residents an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their positions on a variety of issues affecting the Town of Cape Charles.
The event is being sponsored by the Cape Charles Historic District Civic League and the Cape Charles Rotary Club, continuing the organizations’ efforts to encourage community participation and provide voters with information ahead of the election.
For residents unable to attend in person, the forum will be streamed live on the Town of Cape Charles Facebook page.
Candidate forums have traditionally provided Cape Charles residents with an opportunity to move beyond campaign literature and social media, allowing voters to hear candidates respond directly to questions about the challenges and opportunities facing the community.
