Diesel came to us on November 13, 2025. That’s more than 11 months ago, and he’s still waiting. He’s been here longer than any other dog in our shelter, and his one-year “anniversary” is coming up. Let’s make sure he’s in his furever home before it happens!
Most people have only seen Diesel through kennel bars, so we gave him a few new backdrops to help you picture him where he belongs: at home, with you. (Diesel is 100% real; only the settings are digitally edited.)
He’s 2 years old, about 56 lbs, and a Shepherd/Chow Chow mix. He may look tough, but he’s a total sweetheart who leans in within five minutes of meeting you. He loves long walks and treats, and he’s neutered, vaccinated and ready to commit. He’d do best in a home with older kids or no kids and no other dogs.
Diesel’s counting on you. Spread the word and help get him into the loving furever home that he deserves!
