The Academy for Lifetime Learning’s Spring semester is beginning, and it has many new offerings. Learn new skills, make new friends and have fun while you do it.
For $25 per semester, you can take as many classes as you can fit into your life. Learn to build a butterfly hatching house or create beautiful flower arrangements. If music is your forte, harmony singing might be fun. If you are a not a singer, learn about the history of American Pop music.
If you are a lover of the great outdoors, learn about the birds of Chincoteague. Or, take a day trip kayaking the Pocomoke river.
You can learn to play golf, do yoga, sew a pair of pajama pants or make a quilt. For the literary-minded, read and discuss short stories in a book club or find your own voice in creative writing or learn how to write your memoirs.
If you are new to the Eastern Shore or to A.L.L., you might like to sign up for Know the Shore, an interactive class that takes you to interesting places in our community and will make you feel like a local..
Many of our classes are held at the Eastern Shore Community College on Fridays. Check our schedule for times, locations
