In partnership with the Academy of Lifetime Learning on ESVA, The Nature Conservancy’s Volgenau Virginia Coast Reserve staff presents Our Environment, a virtual lecture series running from 2/16 to 5/4 and featuring 7 expert-led classes on a range of topics pertaining to TNC’s local work and global impact beginning with a celebration of 50 Years on TNC on ESVA with VVCR Director, Jill Bieri!

Connections Across the Hemisphere: Shorebird Conservation on Virginia’s Eastern Shore by Alex Wilke, Coastal Scientist

Tuesday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Academy for Lifetime Learning is a non-profit organization based on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The one-time $25 membership fee entitles each member to enroll in as many classes per semester as he/she/they desires.

Membership fees “pay the limited expenses of the organization and the remaining dollars are given each spring to Eastern Shore high school graduates continuing their education.”
