  1. Well color me sad. I will really miss the garden center. Guess I will have to go across the bay for my plants now. So sorry to see you go
Good luck in your future plans!

  2. The closing of Appleseed will leave a planting hole! Unless someone steps up, we will have no place close to buy annuals, ,the odd tomato plant, a flat of lettuce, fruit tree, or shrub to fill in the bare spot, I know it was just business but maybe it was little selfish. I didn’t hear of any attempt to sell the retail part of the business, or maybe growing , selling and planting is more profitable than just landscaping not everyone can afford that style of gardening. I can still do my own landscaping, mowing planting etc. I personally won’t need ” Jeff Klingel Landscape”

    1. You may want to check with Sunnyside Garden Center for your plant needs. They sell annuals, perennials and vegetable plants. They are located on Rt. 13 in Cheriton. Or consider buying a retail space and opening your own small business to fill the planting hole you speak of. Its not as easy as it looks. The Klingels should be praised for their 10+ years of supplying lower Northampton County with a garden center, not insulted by the likes of you.
