  1. While there has never been a declaration from the Department of Justice that there was an “insurrection” on 6 January 2022, and despite the fact that to date, there have been no prosecutions for “insurrection” on 6 January 2022, and despite the fact that when Trump was impeached the second time for “insurrection,” no “insurrection” was ever proven to have taken place on 6 January 2022, nonetheless, Republican U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene on Friday last was forced to have to testify in a Georgia state court in Atlanta in a novel legal challenge to her candidacy accusing her of violating a U.S. Constitution provision called the “Insurrectionist Disqualification Clause” by supporting an incendiary rally that preceded last year’s attack on the U.S. Capitol.

That is the same Civil War era clause in the 14th Amendment that the Democrats hope to use to bar Trump from running for office again and that is what the January 6 WITCH HUNTERS committee including Virginia’s Elaine Luria are going to be springing on us just before the midterms, according to the previews being put out by Democrat constitutional scholar Jamie Raskin who blew the second Trump impeachment big time, so here he is, hoping for another bite of the apple.

The Fourteenth Amendment in Section 3 states as follows:

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”

That is what Ms. Greene is being charged with.

    1. And whoa, pardon me!

I’m talking about January 6, 2021, the day our Constitution died at the hands of Nancy Pelosi and her pack of Democrats in the People’s House, not January 2022.

      Sorry about that.

And I’m surprised Ms. Greene is trying to defend her actions as opposed to blowing the “insurrection” charge right out of the water by requiring those who are trying to get her disqualified on charges of insurrection to offer proof that an insurrection ever occurred.

Like being charged with being an accessory to a bank robbery when there is no evidence any banks were ever robbed.

  2. Elaine Luria is nothing but Nancy Pelosi’s puppet. Heck, she even looks like her more every day.

  3. Speaking of robbery, or gouging, or Joe Biden’s “transitory” inflation, which isn’t going to get better any time soon, the other day, I went to the local hardware store to get a grow light bulb, a common item today, and a clamp lamp light-bulb fixture with an aluminum shade, an even more common item that has been around for fifty years now, if not more, which was about $12 worth of stuff, and in the world of Joe Biden today, fat chance on that.

In this case, with a straight face, they asked $23 for the bulb and $20 each for the clamp lamp and shade, which is nothing more than a shaped aluminum pie plate.

    That is STOOPID!

So I walked out and likely will not go back, and that is what the demand destruction we have been hearing about is all about.

People like me simply stop spending and adjust to doing with less or simply doing without.

The gougers can go to hell as far as I am concerned, for that is theft, plain and simple – gouging so they can maintain their upscale lifestyle as if I am required to support it.

Fat chance on that, as well!

  4. And while we are on the subject of Joe Biden’s “transitory” inflation, where in “Joe speak,” the word “transitory” means “do not expect it to go away any time soon,” we have before us a CNBC article titled “The Fed’s favorite inflation gauge rose 5.2% in March as worker pay fell further behind” by Jeff Cox on April 29, 2022, where we learn this about Joe’s “transitory” inflation, to wit:

Including volatile food and energy prices, the PCE index accelerated by 6.6%, the fastest pace since January 1982.

    end quotes

So Joe is setting some records here as he cements his legacy as the very best president our sacred democracy has ever had.

As the article then states, the data points do little to dispel the notion that inflation is running at a much faster pace than the Fed would like.

    Who’d a thought it!

As to real disposable personal income, or the amount of income after taxes and adjusted for inflation, it declined 0.4% in March.

So old Joe is really doing wonders for the American worker, isn’t he!
