“Biden continues to spread misinformation about gas prices”

    Opinion by Christopher Tremoglie

    28 OCTOBER 2022

It’s well known that the price of gas has soared since Joe Biden became president — everyone knows this but Biden, apparently.

He has routinely spread misinformation about why gas prices were so high, blaming everyone and everything.

On Thursday, Biden’s misinformation campaign struck again as the president falsely claimed the cost of gas exceeded $5 when his presidency began.

It’s a bald-faced lie, and everyone knows it.

“And because of the actions we’ve taken, gas prices are declining.”

“We’re down $1.25 since the peak of this summer, and they’ve been falling for the last three weeks as well, adding up real savings for families,” Biden said during a speech in Syracuse, New York.

“Today, the most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over $5 when I took office.”

“We need to keep making that progress by having energy companies bring down the cost of a gallon of gas that reflects the cost they’re paying for a barrel of oil.”

But like many of Biden’s claims, this is simply not true.

According to data from the Energy Information Administration, the average gas price in the country was $2.31 per gallon on Jan. 11, 2021, shortly before Biden took office.

On Jan. 25, 2021, after his inauguration, the average was $2.39 per gallon.

Neither of those prices is remotely close to the $5 per gallon the president claimed.

Yet perhaps the most startling misinformation was Biden’s claim that gas is now $3.39 per gallon.

This is also not true — the EIA showed that as of Oct. 24, the average price of gas was $3.77 per gallon.

All Biden, or any of his handlers in his administration, had to do was spend a few seconds to go to the EIA’s webpage to find this data.

It takes less than 10 seconds to find.

Yet Biden, once again, chose not to tell the truth.

He’s shown he’s just as bad, if not worse, than former President Donald Trump.

But all of a sudden, a president’s truthfulness doesn’t matter to Democrats.

His continued lies are a disgrace and quite hypocritical from the guy who routinely criticized his predecessor for not being truthful and promised to do the opposite.

But Biden was lying about lying.

At this point, no one should believe anything he says.

Everyone who voted for him fell for the facade.

  2. THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER

“Inflation is up, incomes are down, and Biden is as clueless as ever”

    Opinion by Washington Examiner

    29 OCTOBER 2022

Voters repeatedly rank the economy as their top concern.

That’s bad news for President Joe Biden because his economic record is terrible.

With several Senate races turning against his party, Biden took to the campaign trail this week to test out a new message.

This time, he took the economic issue head-on.

“Inflation is down, real incomes are up, and the price of gas is down,” Biden said at a speech in Syracuse, New York.

As the kids say, “Big, if true!”

Alas, all three of those statements from Biden are outrageously false.

And voters should punish him accordingly.

When Biden took office, inflation was below 2%.

    Now it is above 8%.

    So inflation is up.

When Biden took office, a worker’s real average hourly wage was $11.28.

    Today, it is $10.94.

    So incomes are down.

When Biden took office, the average price of a gallon of gas was $2.39.

    Today, it is $3.76.

    So gas prices are up.

These are not hard numbers to look up.

And yet Biden thinks he can get away with repeating these blatant untruths.

    Why?

Because the New York Times, the Washington Post, and MSNBC all let him repeat as much disinformation as he wants.

None of these organizations bothered to fact-check any of these items from Biden’s speech.

They just let him get away with it.

  3. CCM: For people not paying attention, the story now is that a nudist in his underwear with a hammer snuck into the Pelosi residence, a wellness check sent the police there, they knocked on the door, a THIRD person let them in, at which point the man began assaulting Paul Pelosi. But, the police say….

Police dispatch to Paul Pelosi home:

“RP (reporting person) stated there’s a male in the home and that he’s going to wait for his wife. RP stated that he doesn’t know who the male is but he advised that his name is David and that he is a friend.”

Recap: Nancy Pelosi’s husband called 911 about a “friend” at his house. He sounded “confused”. He was holding a hammer when cops came. An illegal immigrant nudist in his underwear took the hammer and hit Paul. The nudist is a Green Party member with a BLM sign at his commune.

ME: Has anybody gotten any kind of straight answer as to exactly what transpired in that Paul Pelosi Hammer Attack Saga?

The Hill has a story out on the saga titled “Ocasio-Cortez slams McCarthy for saying ‘nothing’ following Paul Pelosi’s attack” by Lauren Vella
on 29 October 2022, where we have the highly emotional AOC shrieking and moaning as follows, to wit:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Saturday hit House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) over his silence following an attack carried out on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) husband, Paul Pelosi, in their San Fransisco home.

    end quote

Now why this overly-emotional dingbat AOC thinks Kevin McCarthy needs to say anything about Paul Pelosi, so far as we know, a private citizen like the rest of us, is lost on me, but then, so is most of what AOC gibbers, but my question is how on earth could this dude gotten through all the security in the first place, because you have to believe that Nancy Pelosi has better security at her house than does Fort Knox or the U.S. Capital, for that matter.

Is the dude some kind of Ninja, or something?

Going back to the story in The Hill, it continues as follows:

“Last year, a GOP Congressman shared a depiction of himself killing me.”

“When the House rose to censure, @GOPLeader defended him,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a tweet.

“Yesterday, a man sharing that member’s rhetoric tried to assassinate the Speaker and her spouse.”

    “What has @GOPLeader said?”

    “Nothing.”

“This is who he is,” she continued.

    end quote

A man tried to assassinate Nancy Pelosi?

Where on earth did that happen, besides in the fevered mind of AOC?

According to the hysterical and overly emotional language in a story in The Guardian titled “‘Somebody’s going to die’: Democrats warn of political violence after Paul Pelosi attack” by Victoria Bekiempis on 30 October 2022, we were told as follows about Nancy’s whereabouts when the hammer attack that AOC says was intended to assassinate both Paul Pelosi, although private citizens like Paul Pelosi aren’t assassinated (murder an important person in a surprise attack for political or religious reasons), and Nancy, to wit:

Indeed, the attack on Paul Pelosi appeared to have been intended for Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden said on Saturday.

Authorities said that the attacker demanded “Where is Nancy?”; the veteran congresswoman was in Washington DC with her security detail when the assault took place.

    end quotes

There we have goofy old Joe Biden throwing in his two cents worth, and if the dude was there to assassinate Nancy, he picked a bad day for it, given she was thousands of miles away.

And here is where things get kind of murky for me, anyway, to wit:

Paul Pelosi was attacked in the early morning on Friday at the home he shares with the Speaker in San Fransisco.

San Francisco Police Department Chief Bill Scott said at a press conference later in the day that officers had been sent to the home for a priority well-being check and found Paul Pelosi and the suspect both holding on to a hammer.

    end quotes

A priority well-being check early in the morning?

And when the police went in to do the priority well-being check, they found Paul Pelosi and the suspect both holding on to a hammer?

    What is up with that?

It sounds like a tableau or something.

Anyway, getting back to the action:

The suspect was able to pull the hammer away from Paul Pelosi and hit him with it.

    end quote

So, okay, the police go to the heavily-fortified Pelosi compound in San Francisco, a city full of druggies and various criminals there for the sanctuary Nancy’s city by the bay affords them, it being criminal friendly like so many other Democrat-controlled cities in America, early in the morning to do a priority wellness check, presumably on Paul, and when they walk in, there en tableau before them are Paul Pelosi and the whack-job who assaulted him both holding on to the same hammer, and then, in front of the police, the whack-job takes the hammer from Paul, himself a big man, and then in front of the police, proceeds to fracture Paul’s skull with it?

And the police didn’t try to stop it?

As I say, a very strange story, starting with how the dude could have made it into that fortified compound in the first place.

If anybody can figure it out and have this make sense, please do us a favor and let us know, too.

  4. And meanwhile, back to the reality that the rest of us in America who don’t live in crime-infested San Francisco now face as we head into the November midterms next week, to wit:

    The Hill

“79 percent of voters describe the US as ‘out of control’”

    Olafimihan Oshin

    30 October 2022

Nearly 8 in 10 Americans describe the current state of affairs in the U.S. as “out of control,” according to a new CBS News-YouGov poll.

The poll, published on Sunday, found that 79 percent of respondents believe things are “out of control” in the country, while 21 percent of those surveyed believe things are “under control.”

When asked how they feel about the state of the U.S. today, 73 percent of respondents said things are going badly in the country, while 36 percent of those surveyed said things are going well, according to the poll.

Along political party lines, 48 percent of registered Democratic respondents believe things are going well in the country, while 12 percent of registered Republicans and 18 percent of independents agree.

When it comes to President Biden, 56 percent of respondents disapprove of the job he is doing as president, while 44 percent of those surveyed approve.

Sixty-three percent of Democrats in the poll said a functioning democracy is their biggest concern, while 21 percent of those surveyed said a strong economy is their biggest concern.

Seventy percent of registered Republican respondents said that a stronger economy is their biggest concern heading into the election, while 29 percent of those surveyed said a functioning democracy is their biggest concern.

  5. And talk about things involving Nancy and Paul Pelosi getting murkier and murkier as we try to fathom how some “radical nudist” dude who is mentally ill and according to a Washington Examiner article titled “Is Pelosi’s attacker an illegal immigrant?” by Conn Carroll on 31 October 2022
David DePape, the whack-job who tried to assassinate Paul and Nancy Pelosi according to the overly-emotional, hysterical AOC, reportedly grew up in Powell River, British Columbia, and, according to CNN, “left Canada about 20 years ago to pursue a relationship that brought him to California,” ever made it through all the hi-tech security in place, and that answer comes to us today not from some weird tin-hat conspiracy site, but from the Biden-loving, Democrat-leaning New York Times in a story titled “Police Cameras at Pelosi’s House Were Unmonitored as They Caught Break-In” on 1 November 2022, where we learn as follows, which is a replay to me of the same apparent Capital Police incompetence that reigned supreme inside the Capital on 6 January 2021, to wit:

WASHINGTON — U.S. Capitol Police security cameras captured the break-in at Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home last week in which her husband, Paul, was viciously assaulted, but costly minutes went by before any officer reviewed the footage, according to a person familiar with the matter.

    end quote

The Capitol Police are under the control of guess who – yes, Nancy Pelosi, Charley “CHUCK” Schumer and the DEMOCRATS!

    So why the lapse, Nancy?

When your husband was being assaulted in your home, how did the Capitol Police manage to be looking somewhere else why it was happening?

As I say, very murky indeed.

Going back to the Washington Examiner article, we learn more about the whack-job and his “California Dreaming” as follows:

What we do know is that DePape had two children with nudist-activist Oxane “Gypsy” Taub and a third child with a still-unidentified second woman.

Now Taub did get married, more than once, but not to DePape, who was at least one of Taub’s weddings as the couple’s “best man.”

It appears that DePape was living with Taub, the mother of two of his children, at the time, and was apparently okay with her marrying another man who was half Taub’s age.

    “He is mentally ill.”

“He has been mentally ill for a long time,” Taub told ABC 7 from the California Institution For Women in Corona, where she is serving time for the attempted abduction of a 14-year-old boy.

“When I met him, he was only 20 years old,” Taub continued, “and he didn’t have any experience in politics, and he was very much in alignment with my views and I’ve always been very progressive.”

    “I absolutely admire Nancy Pelosi.”

    end quotes

And there is where this gets rich, with that statement by nudist-activist Oxane “Gypsy” Taub who is in prison for stalking and attempting to abduct a 14-year-old boy that Paul Pelosi’s alleged assassin was very much in alignment with her views and she’s always been very progressive, and absolutely admires Nancy Pelosi, that as the DEMOCRATS are literally trying to pin this on Trump, with NEWSWEEK going so far as to carry a story titled “Trump Should Be ‘Prosecuted’ Like ‘Mob Boss’ After Pelosi Attack: Kirschner” by Andrew Stanton on 30 October 2022, where we had as follows, to wit:

Former President Donald Trump should be “prosecuted” like a “mob boss” following the attack on Paul Pelosi, husband to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner said Saturday.

Following the attack, attention turned to rhetoric some Republicans, including Trump, have used against Pelosi in recent weeks — with critics saying the use of violent rhetoric may have contributed to the attack.

Kirschner said Saturday that Trump should face legal consequences for his alleged responsibility in inciting violence, comparing him to a mob boss who hands down orders, but doesn’t commit violence himself.

“If you don’t prosecute the mob bosses and the kingpins — if you leave them in place, they will continue to recruit,” he said.

“And that is precisely what Donald Trump has been doing and will continue to do unless and until he is prosecuted.”

Kirschner said Trump will “continue to recruit foot soldiers” if he does not face prosecution.

“Frankly this ongoing Trump-inspired violence is not a surprise,” he added.

“What happened on January 6 and what just happened to Paul Pelosi is exactly what Donald Trump’s language and conduct and behavior is designed to accomplish.”

    end quotes

So this is some serious bull****, indeed, which takes us back to the question of why the Capitol Police who Nancy Pelosi has control over were asleep at the switch when the radical nudist whack-job was trying to assassinate Paul Pelosi with a hammer?

  6. And talk about things getting weirder in connection with this Paul Pelosi business which the Democrats and Joe Biden are working overtime on trying to pin it on Trump and the Republicans, just last night, Nov. 2, 2022, when Joe Biden delivered his remarks on democracy in a televised address from Washington’s Union Station, this is the political spin Joe put on it in his effort to pin it on his feared political rivals, the Republicans, to wit:

    Good evening, everyone.

Just a few days ago, a little before 2:30 a.m. in the morning, a man smashed the back windows and broke into the home of the speaker of the House of Representatives, the third-highest-ranking official in America.

He carried in his backpack zip ties, duct tape, rope and a hammer.

As he told the police, he had come looking for Nancy Pelosi to take her hostage, to interrogate her, to threaten to break her kneecaps.

    But she wasn’t there.

Her husband, my friend Paul Pelosi, was home alone.

The assailant tried to take Paul hostage.

He woke him up, and he wanted to tie him up.

The assailant ended up using a hammer to smash Paul’s skull.

Thankfully, by the grace of God, Paul survived.

All this happened after the assault, and it just — it’s hard to even say.

    It’s hard to even say.

After the assailant entered the home asking: “Where’s Nancy?”

    “Where’s Nancy?”

Those are the very same words used by the mob when they stormed the United States Capitol on January the 6th, when they broke windows, kicked in the doors, brutally attacked law enforcement, roamed the corridors hunting for officials and erected gallows to hang the former vice president, Mike Pence.

    end quotes

Note that Joe leaves out a lot of details such as were recounted in a story in The Guardian titled “A secret bathroom 911 call: how Paul Pelosi saved his own life – House speaker’s husband told alleged intruder that he needed to use restroom and spoke in ‘code’ to alert authorities of problem” by Victoria Bekiempis on 30 October 2022, where we learned as follows:

According to Politico, Paul Pelosi told the alleged intruder – identified by authorities as David DePape – that he needed to use the restroom.

Paul Pelosi’s mobile phone was charging in the bathroom at the time; the 82-year-old then made a surreptitious call to 911, and remained connected.

The emergency services dispatcher, Heather Grimes, heard an exchange between Paul Pelosi and his attacker as he spoke in “code” to alert the authorities there was a problem.

    “What’s going on?”

    “Why are you here?”

“What are you going to do to me?” Pelosi reportedly said while on the call.

A suspicious Grimes then notified police for a wellness check.

The San Francisco police chief, William Scott, said that officers arrived to the Pelosis home and saw Paul Pelosi and DePape holding a hammer.

“The suspect pulled the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and violently assaulted him with it,” Politico quoted Scott as saying.

“Our officers immediately tackled the suspect, disarmed him, took him into custody, requested emergency backup and rendered medical aid.”

    end quote

And that brings us to the HuffPost, and an article titled “Gov. Gavin Newsom: Fox News Has Been ‘Sowing The Seeds’ That Led To Pelosi Attack”
by Lydia O’Connor on 31 October 2022, where we are treated to this theory of the Paul Pelosi attack by the empty-headed Democrat “pretty boy” governor of California, Gavin Newsom, to wit:

Fox News has been fueling a “culture and a climate” that led to last week’s violent break-in at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco house, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) said in a CBS News interview airing Tuesday.

    end quote

So according to the theory of Gavin Newsom here, this whack-job DePape, a mentally ill “nudist activist” with a “very progressive” girlfriend who “absolutely admires Nancy Pelosi” who is in the California Institution For Women in Corona where she is serving time for the attempted abduction of a 14-year-old boy foll0ws Fox News religiously and gets his marching orders from them, which is a load of horse**** because Gavin Newsom knows nothing abo0ut this whack-job, but that is Gavin for you, which takes us back to that story, to wit, as Gavin tries to pin this assault on Fox:

“They’re sowing the seeds, creating a culture and a climate like this,” Newsom told CBS News’ chief Washington correspondent, Major Garrett, referring to the conservative network.

    “I mean, look online.”

“Look at the sewage that is online that they amplify on these networks and in social media to dehumanize people like Nancy Pelosi and other political leaders.”

“I’ve seen the dehumanization of Nancy Pelosi.”

“I don’t think anyone’s been dehumanized like she has consistently,” Newsom said of his fellow California Democrat.

He specifically called out Fox News host Jesse Watters, who has done several segments about Paul Pelosi pleading guilty to a misdemeanor driving under the influence charge earlier this year.

“What he’s been saying about Paul Pelosi the last five, six months, mocking him consistently ― don’t tell me that’s not aiding and abetting all this.”

“Of course it is,” Newsom said.

    end quotes

That, people, is the art of the demagogue in print right there.

Dangerous times in America, indeed, when politicians like Joe Biden and Gavin Newsom can get up in their bully pulpits and hurl incendiary charges unsupported by any facts, with not only impunity, but aiding and abetting by the main-stream and legacy media.
