RICHMOND, Va. – To kick off the summer, Atlantic Union Bank and Feed More are partnering on a “bank on ending hunger” initiative. Across the Atlantic Union Bank footprint, for every checking account opened between June 1 and August 31, the bank will donate four meals to families in need.
“Summer is a challenging time for many families, especially for those who depend on school-based support during the academic year,” said Nathalia Artus, Head of Community Impact at Atlantic Union Bank. “As the need for supplemental food increases, we’re committed to doing our part to ensure everyone has access to the nourishment they need. No one should have to go without.”
Feed More and Atlantic Union Bank have worked together for more than ten years. Over the course of that partnership, Atlantic Union Bank has helped Feed More with their deposit and cash management needs, with financing for loans and philanthropic grants.
