Whatever happened to the mantra, “Believe the victim”.
Graphic new details are emerging about a newly revealed allegation of sexual assault against Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax.
The Washington Post acknowledged investigating the claims and deciding not to publish, but it said the Fairfax statement “incorrectly” claimed the paper found “significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegations.”
Fairfax and the woman told different versions of what happened in the hotel room with no one else present. The Washington Post could not find anyone who could corroborate either version.
The Washington Post said Fairfax and the woman met first met in Boston at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
UPDATE: A California woman accusing Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax of sexual assault has hired Christine Blasey Ford’s legal team – Katz, Marshall and Banks – and is consulting with them about next steps, according to a source close to the legal team.
“The woman described a sexual encounter that began with consensual kissing and ended with a forced act that left her crying and shaken,” The Washington Post reported. “She said Fairfax guided her to the bed, where they continued kissing, and then at one point she realized she could not move her neck. She said Fairfax used his strength to force her to perform oral sex.”
Speaking to reporters in Richmond Monday, Fairfax said he was 25 and unmarried when they met at the convention. He called the meeting a “consensual encounter.”
Fairfax also questioned the timing.
“Such a shame this is weaponized and used as a smear because this is a very real issue,” Fairfax said.
The Big League Politics post that prompted Fairfax’s denial published a purported Facebook post from the woman that read, “Imagine you were sexually assaulted during the DNC Convention in Boston in 2004 by a campaign staffer. You spend the next 13 years trying to forget it ever happened. Until one day you find out he’s the Democratic candidate for statewide office in a state some 3000 miles away, and he wins that election in November 2017. Then, by strange, horrible luck, it seems increasingly likely that he’ll get a VERY BIG promotion.”

I recall the Democrats telling Me to “believe the victim”. I guess they will now say “Well:::: it depends”.

They would not be in office unless fools voted for them. Out of all the good people in the country, why do you keep electing these types of people? They all have an agenda, as opposed to doing the will of the people that elected them. The bite the hands that feed them. They are, for the most part, people who could not pour piss out of a boot if the instructions where printed on the sole.
Elections have consequences.

all local Democratic committees push candidates that the parties want, they are all brainwashed, not to think for them selfs but to think what the head of the party wants, here in Northampton County the party concentrates on national issues instead of local problems, they’re afraid to originate when I was the party leader I concentrated on the local issues, my successor instead focused in on Washington politics leaving us the Rural arear to sink while the rest of the country pilled ahead economically and job creation.

No mater, if you are a democrat today…..you are a problem.

It does seem as if Fairfax is being given a pass here.
It makes me recall the Democrat fury that came down from on high when it was pretty white boy Tony Weiner who was in the hot seat!
Oh, the outrage of it all.
So one is kind of curious as to the silence of Nancy Pelosi, and Hillary Clinton and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in this case.
Why the silence, ladies?
Is the victim in this case lying?

Speaking of the appearance of a double standard here with regard to Justin Fairfax, versus say disgraced Democrat Eric T. “Teddy” Schneiderman, the former attorney general of the corrupt third-world ****hole of New York, who had to resign because he was choking women during sex, according to the WHSV article “Rev. Sharpton to Gov. Northam: ‘You are a blackface user’ – Latest on controversy surrounding the top three elected democrats in VA” by Eric Perry, WWBT, on Feb. 07, 2019, the hate-filled little sack of pus from New York, the Baptist Reverend Al Sharpton, was just here in Virginia to get his mouth into the Northam, Herring, Fairfax fray, as follows:
RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) — The Rev. Al Sharpton didn’t hold back on his thoughts Thursday about the controversy surrounding Virginia’s top leaders.
At the beginning of a speech about community and racial reconciliation at Virginia Union University, he told Gov. Ralph Northam, “You are a blackface user.”
“If someone had to tell you that you weren’t in the picture, then there’s a chance you could have done it,” Sharpton said.
“I flew out of New York to tell you that your political days are over and you need to go on to another life,” Sharpton said.
“One minute it’s Charlottesville and the next it’s blackface.”
“Virginia keeps popping up,” Sharpton said, referring to the deadly Unite the Right Rally in August 2017.
“If you sin, you must pay for the sin,” he said.

As to Fairfax, in that same article, the hate-filled Reverend Al had this to say:
Sharpton also addressed sexual assault allegations surrounding Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax.
“Any accusation should be taken seriously and both the woman and Fairfax should not be disrespected,” he said.

Fairfax should not be “disrespected,” Reverend Al?
Pray tell, why, Reverend Al?
Because he is a “person of color,” and when it comes to sexual matters, he should not be held to the same standards as would apply to a white dude like Eric T. “Teddy” Schneiderman?
And in one of those psychic quirks that people up this way attribute to the magnetic anomaly caused by that massive meteorite buried in the mud beneath Cape Charles, the SoHo Journal circa 2012 had an article entitled “Reverend Al Sharpton Endorses Eric Schneiderman for Attorney General” by SoHo Journal Staff, as follows:
NEW YORK – On the heels of a powerful endorsement by the New York Times, the Reverend Al Sharpton today announced his support for Eric Schneiderman to be New York’s next Attorney General.
The national civil rights leader joins the growing list of over 100 progressive leaders and grassroots organizations that are supporting Schneiderman for Attorney General.
“Eric Schneiderman is a true leader who understands the problems of New Yorkers from all walks of life, and has dedicated his career to progressive and social justice,” Reverend Sharpton said today.
“Eric doesn’t just talk about equal justice, he walks the walk, and I am delighted to endorse his candidacy for Attorney General and encourage all New Yorkers to support him.”
“I am so honored to receive the support of Reverend Al Sharpton, a leader on human and civil rights not just here in New York but nationally,” Eric Schneiderman said today.
“I will be an Attorney General for all New Yorkers, to promote equal justice for all, and with the Reverend’s support, we are a major step closer to making that happen.”
“With the endorsement of Rev. Sharpton, it is clear that the momentum in the race for Attorney General is with Eric Schneiderman.”
“The Reverend knows a lot about justice, and I know there is no other candidate who can match Eric’s record getting the job done,” said Democratic Conference Leader John Sampson.

The “Reverend” knows a lot about justice?
How about the CNN story “New York AG Eric Schneiderman resigns over assault allegations” by Sophie Tatum, on May 8, 2018, then:
Washington (CNN)New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has resigned, following a report on allegations of assault by multiple women in The New Yorker.
“It’s been my great honor and privilege to serve as Attorney General for the people of the State of New York.”
“In the last several hours, serious allegations, which I strongly contest, have been made against me,” Schneiderman said in a statement.
“While these allegations are unrelated to my professional conduct or the operations of the office, they will effectively prevent me from leading the office’s work at this critical time.”
“I therefore resign my office, effective at the close of business on May 8, 2018.”
Shortly after he announced his resignation, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office said they had opened an investigation into the allegations against Schneiderman, a spokesman told CNN.
Schneiderman’s swift resignation, which came just hours after The New Yorker published its report, is a shocking fall from grace for a once rising star in Democratic politics.
Schneiderman had cast himself as a fierce opponent and critic of President Donald Trump.
Schneiderman has also been a vocal proponent of the #MeToo movement, bringing legal action in New York against film producer Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of sexually assaulting women.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo had called for Schneiderman’s resignation earlier Monday.
“No one is above the law, including New York’s top legal officer,” Cuomo said in a statement.
“I will be asking an appropriate New York District Attorney to commence an immediate investigation, and proceed as the facts merit.”
“My personal opinion is that, given the damning pattern of facts and corroboration laid out in the article, I do not believe it is possible for Eric Schneiderman to continue to serve as Attorney General, and for the good of the office, he should resign,” he added.

I wonder why the Reverend Al was not calling for “Teddy” Schneiderman to not be “disrespected.
Paul Plante says
Boy oh boy, when it rains for this Fairfax dude, who Reverend Al Sharpton, the hate-filled Baptist preacher man, does not want “disrespected,” it literally pours, as the Wall Street Journal is just out with an article entitled “Second woman accuses Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax of sexual assault” by Jon Kamp, published: Feb 8, 2019 @ 5:15 p.m. ET, where we are informed as follows:
A second woman has come forward to accuse Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax of sexual assault.
Meredith Watson said through her lawyer that Fairfax raped her in 2000 while they were students at Duke University.
A spokeswoman for Fairfax wasn’t immediately available for comment.

Have we got another Eric T. “Teddy” Schneiderman on our hands here, people?
I wonder if Justin will claim this was consensual, too?
I further wonder if Hillary Clinton would have Justin Fairfax in here “BASKET OF DEPLORABLES,” or would she give him a walk because he is a “person of color?”
And in the meantime, we can wait with bated breath to see what Reverend Al is going to say about this latest revelation, so stay tuned, more is likely yet to come as to whether the Northam campaign is involved here in bringing out these latest charges.
