The Mirror may be the only one to report this, but wild allegations are coming from an inspector general accusing the Biden Admin of ordering a cover-up on Afghanistan, and it’s gotten no attention anywhere.
A damning speech was given by the head of Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR-oversight committee on war) on efforts by the State Department and DoD to classify vital information on the Afghan war since the fall of Kabul in August.
Shortly after the fall of Kabul, the State Dept wrote to oversight agencies requesting to “temporarily suspend access” to all “audit, inspection, and financial audit…reports”. They claimed information on reports could endanger Afghan allies. But despite repeated requests, State was never able to describe any specific threats to individuals supposedly contained in the reports, nor did State explain how removing reports could possibly protect anyone since many were years old and extensively disseminated worldwide.
Demands to remove info have increased since the fall of Kabul: The State Department said they had reviewed the relatively few materials remaining on SIGAR’s website and included a spreadsheet containing 2,400 new items they requested redacting.
This included the following request: State asked that they redact Ashraf Ghani’s name from our reports. Not sure why the former Afghan President faces any threats simply from being referenced by SIGAR.
No audience better understands the dangers of limiting public access to info in the name of “security.” And simply because the war in Afghanistan has concluded does not mean the American people – or its elected representatives – do not have a right to know the truth. For years, while SIGAR has put out remarkably detailed, and deeply inconvenient truths, about the war in Afghanistan. The Department of Defense has been able to order classified segments of those reports, hiding them from the view of the public. DOD restricted from public release a range of info going back to 2015 on the performance of the Afghan security forces, purportedly at the request of the Afghan govt. This included information such as casualty data, unit strength, training, and operational deficiencies.
In essence, nearly all the info needed to know whether the Afghan security forces were a real fighting force or a house of cards waiting to fall. In light of recent events, it’s not surprising that the Afghan government, and likely some in DOD, wanted to keep that info hidden away.
This info almost certainly would have benefited Congress and the public in assessing whether progress was being made in Afghanistan and, more importantly, whether we should have ended our efforts there earlier, yet, SIGAR was forced to relegate this information into classified appendices, making it much more difficult for Members of Congress to access the information, and completely eliminating public and press access to and discussion of that information.
The bipartisan leadership of the House Oversight and Reform Committee and its National Security Subcommittee have formally requested that all information in SIGARHQ classified appendices be declassified by the originating agencies.
Likewise, the Biden Administration should declassify and make available to SIGAR and Congress all internal DOD and State Dept cables, reports, etc. reflecting security situation on the ground over the last few years, especially those that differed from public statements of agencies in Washington.
VEET NAM under DEMOCRAT Lyndon Baines “Horse’s ass” Johnson was a huge web of lies so why would we think Afghanistnam under DEMOCRAT Joseph “Corn Pop” Biden would be any different.
And fast forward to today – IT IS ALL DONALD TRUMP’S FAULT, not Joe Biden’s or Tony Blinken’s:

Blinken Says US Wasn’t Fully Prepared For Afghanistan Crisis As White House Puts Blame On Donald Trump: ‘…We Got Wrong'”
Story by Navdeep Yadav
6 April 2023
Antony Blinken on Thursday said the U.S. State Department wasn’t fully primed for the swift fall of Kabul and the Afghan government as Washington withdrew its army in 2021.
What Happened: “More could and should have been done” by the State Department to prepare for a worst-case scenario in Afghanistan, the Secretary of State told his staff, reported Politico.
The comments came after the White House released an after-action report on the Afghanistan withdrawal, which largely blames former President Donald Trump‘s administration for the chaos unfolding as U.S. troops left Kabul.
“President Biden’s choices for how to execute a withdrawal from Afghanistan were severely constrained by conditions created by his predecessor,” the report said.
Meanwhile, Blinken accepted that the State Department didn’t foresee the Afghan government’s rapid collapse.
“This was seen as a very low probability, but obviously, potentially very high impact event and more could and should have been done to prepare for it.”
“Even though there were things that we got right, things that we got wrong, things that we could do better, it’s really important to me that no matter what, this country knows and appreciates the fact that you all served with incredible dedication and incredible distinction,” he added.
The top U.S. diplomat defending his department and the government’s action in Afghan said it was “already taking steps to implement” recommendations from the review he ordered.
Following the release of the White House report on the US military’s exit from Afghanistan, Trump reacted swiftly.
“These Morons in the White House, who are systematically destroying our Country, headed up by the biggest Moron of them all, Hopeless Joe Biden, have a new disinformation game they are playing – Blame ‘TRUMP’ for their grossly incompetent SURRENDER in Afghanistan,” he said, in a Truth Social post.
EVERYTHING that Joe Biden has done wrong, and especially his panicked skedaddle out of Afghanistnam, was really done wrong by Trump, not Joe Biden:

“‘Who’s Going to Get Fired For This?’ Peter Doocy, John Kirby Battle It Out Over Afghan Evacuation Report”
Story by Ken Meyer
6 APRIL 2023
Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy threw down with John Kirby when he interrogated the White House spokesman over the newly-released report on the U.S. withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.
Kirby accompanied Karine Jean-Pierre at the White House press briefing on Thursday, where he faced a deluge of questions about the summary report on the Biden administration’s 2021 decision-making in Afghanistan.
The summary foists much of the blame on Donald Trump’s administration, arguing that the former president’s dealings with the Taliban forced Biden into a situation of “severely constrained” options, nor was there a plan left for Biden to execute the withdrawal.
This subsequently led to the eruption of chaos when the U.S. scrambled to evacuate people as the Taliban took control of the country.
Doocy came out swinging as he invoked the report to ask Kirby “who is going to get fired over this?”
Kirby answered by claiming the document’s purpose is “not accountability,” so Doocy challenged him for his defenses of America’s military and intelligence assessments on Afghanistan.
“I said intelligence is hard.”
“They get it right a lot, too,” Kirby said.
“This document and this effort isn’t about accountability today.”
“It is about understanding, and I would also add the review process is not over.”
“This is the next muscle movement in will be a long process to better understand, comprehend and adjust to what we learned and what we did in Afghanistan.”
NOBODY in Washington is ever ACCOUNTABLE for anything and this REAR ADMIRAL John “Jack” Kirby, who was a restricted line officer, a designator given to a United States Navy line officer who is not eligible for Command at Sea, in other words, a member of the land-bound Navy because a gentle swell makes them sea-sick, who is now a mouthpiece for the senile drooling dictator of America Joe Biden, knows doodly squat about intelligence, never himself having been in the field of intelligence, having instead been the editor-in-chief of the Navy’s flagship monthly magazine, All Hands, and to a Viet Nam combat veteran who knows quite a bit about “military intelligence,” an oxymoron. that excuse of his that “intelligence is hard” is just plain laughable.
Sometimes they get it right?
Yeah, right, Jack – not this time they, which is to say Joe Biden and Tony Blinken and Jake Sullivan didn’t, and as to military intelligence being an oxymoron, google “the light at the end of the tunnel” for Viet Nam, or “the boys will be home for Christmas” for Korea, and you will see exactly what I mean.
And let us not forget “Remarks by President Biden on the Drawdown of U.S. Forces in Afghanistan” on July 08, 2021, where we had as follows concerning a total lack of intelligence on the part of Joe Biden, himself, to wit:
Q Is a Taliban takeover of Afghanistan now inevitable?
THE PRESIDENT: No, it is not.
Q Why?
THE PRESIDENT: Because you — the Afghan troops have 300,000 well-equipped — as well-equipped as any army in the world — and an air force against something like 75,000 Taliban.
It is not inevitable.
Q Mr. President, will you amplify that question, please?
Will you amplify your answer, please — why you don’t trust the Taliban?
THE PRESIDENT: It’s a — it’s a silly question.
Do I trust the Taliban?
No.
But I trust the capacity of the Afghan military, who is better trained, better equipped, and more re- — more competent in terms of conducting war.
Q Mr. President, thank you very much.
Your own intelligence community has assessed that the Afghan government will likely collapse.
THE PRESIDENT: That is not true.
Q Is it — can you please clarify what they have told you about whether that will happen or not?
THE PRESIDENT: That is not true.
They did not — they didn’t — did not reach that conclusion.
Q Mr. President, how serious was the corruption among the Afghanistan government to this mission failing there?
THE PRESIDENT: Well, first of all, the mission hasn’t failed, yet.
But the likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely.
THE HYPE AND PURE BULL**** FROM THE BIDEN REGIME TODAY REGARDING JOE’S PANICKED DIDDY-MAU OUT OF AFGHANISTNAM WHICH WAS ALL TRUMP’S FAULT:

VERSUS WHAT OLD JOE HIMSELF WAS TELLING THE CANDID WORLD AND PEOPLE OF AMERICA BACK THEN WHEN IT WASN’T TRUMP’S FAULT AT ALL BUT JOE’S TRIUMPH OF GOOD OVER EVIL OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT ANYWAY:
Remarks by President Biden on the Drawdown of U.S. Forces in Afghanistan
July 08, 2021
East Room
2:09 P.M. EDT
THE PRESIDENT: Good afternoon.
The drawdown is proceeding in a secure and orderly way, prioritizing the safety of our troops as they depart.
We provided our Afghan partners with all the tools — let me emphasize: all the tools, training, and equipment of any modern military.
We provided advanced weaponry.
And we’re going to continue to provide funding and equipment.
And we’ll ensure they have the capacity to maintain their air force.
In our meeting, I also assured Ghani that U.S. support for the people of Afghanistan will endure.
We will continue to provide civilian and humanitarian assistance, including speaking out for the rights of women and girls.
I intend to maintain our diplomatic presedence [presence] in Afghanistan, and we are coordinating closely with our international partners in order to continue to secure the international airport.
I’ve asked Secretary of State Blinken and our Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation to work vigorously with the parties in Afghanistan, as well as the regional and international stakeholders to support a negotiated solution.
So obviously, in yet another Biden DUMP ON TRUMP political move, the white house and REAR ADMIRAL John “Jack” Kirby are literally changing history here, and I am surprised that NONE of the newsies present, including Peter Doocy remember what Joe was saying on July 8, 2021 in his Remarks by President Biden on the Drawdown of U.S. Forces in Afghanistan, given it was a PRESS CONFERENCE where they were all present.
WHAT BULL**** all the way around!
FLASH *** FLASH *** FLASH!
IMPORTANT NEW NARRATIVE ALERT FROM THE WASHINGTON WHITE HOUSE:
Now hear this!
With respect to the eruption of chaos in Afghanistnam when Joe Biden scrambled to evacuate people as the Taliban took control of the country, let it be clear that Joe Biden was a VICTIM of treachery by Donald Trump!
Yes, people, that is correct – Joe is a VICTIM!
Donald Trump knew there was no possible way that he could beat Joe Biden for the presidency in 2020, Joe simply was too strong a candidate, and Trump knew that, so to sabotage the Biden presidency and make Joe look bad in the eyes of the American people heading into the 2024 presidential contest, Donald Trump made a nefarious and perfidious deal with the Taliban that Trump knew would hamstring Joe Biden, so people would think Joe Biden was stupid and incompetent, thus setting the stage for Trump to defeat Joe in 2024, which is totally unfair and dirty pool, to boot, because there is no equity for Joe Biden in that!
So don’t be fooled here, people!
Restore equity to American presidential politics!
Vote BIDEN THE VICTIM in 2024!

“Why Joe Biden is the weakest US President and America a fading superpower”
Opinion by Abhijit Majumder
9 APRIL 2023
The men who preceded and succeeded Abraham Lincoln are widely held as the two worst presidents in America’s history.
James Buchanan is accused of refusing to challenge the spread of slavery and proving pathetic leadership in the build-up to the Civil War.
Present polls judge Lincoln’s successor Andrew Johnson pretty dimly as well for blocking civil rights for freed slaves and opposing reconstruction initiatives, including the 14th Amendment which gave every US citizen freedom and equal protection.
But a third gentleman has a strong claim to this unenviable mantle today.
It is the White House incumbent, Joe Biden.
Even the most defining changes usually happen in real time, invisible and unnoticed, but in a little over two years as president, Biden has shown the US and the world what spectacular defeats look like.
China has got encouraged by a series of American capitulations globally.
The US forces literally fled from Afghanistan after spending an estimated $2.3 trillion.
That is more than Brazil’s GDP.
It left a hapless population in the hands of the brutal Taliban.
The US needed to exit Afghanistan.
But the Biden administration made it look cowardly, messy, and disgraceful.
Not the signal a superpower sends out to the world.
