The Town Manager Recruitment Committee, comprised of Mayor Dize, Councilwomen Burge and Holloway, Ms. Ann Hayward-Walker, and Town Clerk Libby Hume, met over the last several months to review the submitted resumes for the town manager position.
Candidates were narrowed down to five candidates who were interviewed via telephone on December 3, 2019. After these interviews, the group was narrowed down to just two candidates.
The in-person interviews have been scheduled for Wednesday, January 22, and Thursday, January 23.
Each candidate will be given a tour of the town and facilities. They will be introduced to the staff at each facility and a session will be scheduled for them to meet the department heads for open discussion in a group setting.
The mayor will take each candidate to dinner prior to their interview with the Council.
