This community event offers a great opportunity to help beautify Cape Charles while connecting with local officials and neighbors. The event will also be used to remember former Harbor Master Smitty Dize.
All are welcome to participate in this civic engagement activity.
Date: Saturday, March 15th
Location: Cape Charles, beginning at the beach gazebo
Schedule of Events:
10:00 AM – Community Cleanup
- Meet Town Staff & Council at the beach gazebo
- Get assigned an area to clean up, or tidy your own property
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Community Picnic
- Join fellow volunteers at the Harbor Pavilion
- Enjoy lunch while meeting with the Mayor, Town Council, Staff & Organizations
- Special tribute honoring the life of Smitty Dize
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Shredder services available at Town Hall
