The 3rd annual Cape Charles Day is taking place June 12, 2021 from 9 am to 2 pm. This event is normally celebrated March 1st but due to COVID restrictions, had to be postponed.
What is Cape Charles Day? It serves to commemorate the Town of Cape Charles incorporation on March 1, 1886. It is celebrated by everyone taking the opportunity to “Clean Up” Cape Charles by cleaning up debris in and around your own yards or somewhere else that needs a little TLC. After your clean up from 9 am to 12 noon, everyone joins together at Central Park to enjoy a hot dog with all the fixins served up by members of our Town Council and listen to some good music from 12 noon until 2 pm.

There will also be a “Shredding Event” at the park from 10 am to 1 pm if you want to take advantage of disposing of sensitive documents you really don’t need in a secure manner. Just remember to remove any binder clips that may damage the shredder.
Cape Charles Main Street will be debuting for sale the 3rd annual Holiday Ornament in a series at our table at the park along with other merchandise with all proceeds going to support our on-going revitalization initiatives for the Town of Cape Charles.
