CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Cape Charles Historic District Review Board will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The agenda will feature two Certificate of Appropriateness applications for new construction projects in the historic district.
The first application concerns an update to a previously approved project at 542 Jefferson Avenue, which involves the construction of a two-story single-family dwelling. The second application, for a property identified as Tax Map 83A1-1-224 on Jefferson Avenue, proposes the construction of a new 2-1/2 story single-family dwelling.
Both projects are expected to be reviewed for compliance with the town’s historic preservation guidelines as the board considers their impact on the character of the Cape Charles Historic District.

Hamala,
I believe that is scheduled to be decided some time in the future. They first must interact with some developers, and then be advised on the proper course of action.
