Due to a software conversion issue with the County tax records, the Cape Charles personal property tax bills could not be mailed until November 14th. For the benefit of our citizens who are receiving the bills later than usual, the Town of Cape Charles is extending the due date for payment of personal property taxes until December 30, 2024.
Please note that the real property tax bills will still be due on December 5, 2024.
